Removing the satellite feature on the roof

I see its mounted over the stripes and Im wondering if there is paint under the bolt on piece on the roof?

Im referring to the one on the exterior and no im certain its for satellite.

Only mustangs with the satellite xm radio have it.

In my search for the OEM vinyl stripes, there is actually 2 sets of roof stripes, one that's a full piece, and one with a cutout, which I am assuming is for the antenna.

ah, the dome looking thing! I haven't even turned on the satellite radio yet... yeah, I wouldn't mind if it wasn't there either.

I found out you have to remove the headliner... its bolted on from the inside so there is actually a hole in the roof i am assuming

It would need a hole for the antenna wire also
