Dies anyone know what this part is called in the Ford database? I’m trying to check the price on one with the red stitching. Does anyone know if the two upper left and right parts are removable to just order those instead of the entire dash skeleton? Ignore the two bottom red lines please.

IIRC It's all one molded piece. Try visiting an auto upholstery place and see what they might be able to do.

The red stiching stiched into the dash covering them applied to the dash thru heat molding. There is a company out of England on Ebay that makes leather trim to wrap your dash.

No the upper panels are not sold separately. You have to order the entire dash assembly. You would be looking at a retail price of around $3,700.00

What I was referring to are aftermarket leather pieces that can be attached in a pretty straight forward manner by an upholstery shop. The hard part is the dash needs to be removed from the car.

Mine already had the dash pads with the red stitching, so while repairing the AC evaporator, I took care of the center stack.

The company I showed as my supplier makes practically a leather wrap with contrasted stitching of you choice for most of the Mustang interior.

The parts pictured I wrapped myself pretty easy upgrade that has quite an impact.

^Does your supplier have a website or just an Ebay store? The Ebay store doesn't have any Mustang items...

They sell primarily on Ebay, that is how I have purchased my items. Right now because of travel restrictions they have pretty much reduced their offerings. It won't take long before they are up and running again.

Good luck with your project.

How hard are the center stack pieces to put on? I have been looking for that. That is the one area that I think ford cheeped out on with the premium trim.

There pretty easy to put on, you just need headliner adhesive. You would need to remove the center console and the lower dash trim along with the center stack electronics to get clear access to the side areas. I had my dash completely removed from the car when I installed my set

I've been in contact with "JF Customs" and they have forwarded a 5% discount code good thru May 31, 2020. Just a heads up though, if your purchase thru them on Ebay, there is a shipping delay due to what's currently going on. That being said the quality of their workmanship and materials is a great value and well worth the wait.

Here the info;
Lookup: JF Customs on Ebay
The code is: MG6G208
Good thru May 31, 2020.

Hope this helps with projects you are working on.

Here are some pictures of what they have to offer.

They also offer different contrast colors to match your car as well.

I'm trying to get info out to those looking for different options while trying to get the word out for this supplier. Their products are all top notch.

The issue with this type of modification is that it almost always look like a “glued-on” job. Especially if you are not a professional trimmer
And you can always see a bunch of defects if you look closely.
That would drive me nuts

I am not a professional upholstery installer. I just have a eye for detail and patients to follow thru on project. These type of projects are not complicated at all and my interior has a better than factory look and feel.

Bottom line is if you don't have the confidence to do this kind of work, then have a professional do it or just keep thinking about what Ford should have done.

Sorry but, at least on the pictures, the console top and console don’t match and really look like a glued on job
Taste is a personal thing so I will not comment on that but I hope that Ford QC would have rejected your console if it came like that from the supplier
Not trying to be rude but it look objectively pretty bad with a lot of defects

I seem to to do really well at the car shows it gets entered in against other Mustangs.

Seems as though your in the wrong category of cars and maybe should be looking into top tier German cars instead of hobbyist vehicles like Mustangs..

They are considerably more expensive but engineered for finicky owners.

Wow after reading just a few of your posts, you really don't have much positive to say. Is it because you have short coming you don't know how to resolve?
