May I be frank with you? It’s sound like you and your turner trying to get other’s people tuning secret sauce to make a profit. Of course, they will say no. I don’t believe just because it a RHD car over there that they can’t fine tune. That is totally bs. Now you ask them for remote tune and they still say no. I think i know why. Because they don’t want to send you a tune knowing you and your tuner going to try and hack into their tune.

I am watching this thread with interest and feel there are a few things that some of the USA guys may not realise and may take for granted.

First up, the mustang is quite a rare car over here (other than my own, I maybe spot another one every two or three weeks) and the percentage of those that get tuned is probably quite small i.e. the tuners won’t be seeing them often.

Of the tuners that have seen them, I’m yet to hear of one that isn’t surrounded with more horror stories than recommendations.

Emissions and the associated regulations are quite strict over here - cats and particulate filters plus the electronic controls and warning lights that go with them etc. Admittedly I think with the EPA stuff going on you guys may be catching up which could actually start to benefit us euro guys.

So when you consider all the above, finding a Mustang tuner over here with a good reputation, that will work with a supercharged / twin turbo car, with coyote experience, who will work in line with all our emission regulations and get the best out of the motor is a pretty hard task - I can fully understand why the OP is reaching out for recommendations … :like:

Considering they've never done a RHD car with a centri or experienced our fuel its going to need a lot more than 1-3 revisions.
Ok, you’re wrong here. I know of several RHD Centri’s tuned by Lund.
If they can tune Aussie cars in 3-4 revisions, there‘s no reason why yours should take more than that IF they would actually do it.
Clearly that’s the source of the issue though.

The request was from our local tuner who was happy to build on a base map and tailor it for the driving experience i wanted and for our fuels etc.
Your fuel won’t make a scrap of difference. The stoich value is so close that it’s splitting hairs.

Emissions and the associated regulations are quite strict over here - cats and particulate filters plus the electronic controls and warning lights that go with them etc.
Please correct me if I’m wrong here but I thought the particulate filter was only fitted to the 18+ cars when in RHD configuration (or at least that’s how the Aussie cars have been delivered).

That’s I how I see it. A business always wants lot of customers, but there are a few customers you want nothing to do with. I think they ignored you because of that. Otherwise, they probably say we can’t tune you because you lived over there or something like we only tune us cars only. They chose to ignored you that meant you rubbed them the wrong way.

Your right, but as I have a 20 it’s one of my concerns hence my interest :like:

I am also concerned with the rev match and the fact I want to change the rear gear - it’s going to be a real headache for me … lol

So many assumptions. Your post is worthless. Member is looking for help not your assuming opinions. And it is "Ignore" not ignored. 🙄 To the OP as MD_ already suggested, Try reaching out to Wengerd Performance

I have a hard time with the "no experience with our fuels" bit.
That's an asinine arugment, I because as long as they know the stoich and the octane level that's an easy thing to tune. I having my car shipped to Italy because I miss it and well there are no speed limits here for the most part. They told me to send them a log when it gets here to make sure it's all good. They do not expect any problems however as long as I use the 100 RON on my 93 octane tune.
You got hooked up with wengerd, have heard good things about them. hopefully it works out for you moving forward.
