I just picked up a 2015 Mustang GT. My car has the Recaros. The car is my daily driver and I believe the standard seats would have been the better option. Does anyone know if the Recaros can be switched out for the standard seats at the dealer? I am sure it won't be cheap.

It is possible but I would also expect it to be quite expensive. They'll have to wire everything also so you can have power and any other options that may come with the new seats you are trying to add.

I'm 6'3 and about 230 lbs with a broad shoulder build and the Recaro's are just plain uncomfortable. They look great, and for a smaller build I'm sure are a great option, but not for me.
Bummer, I'm 6'1" and about 250, and built like a linebacker. I'd love to order Recaros, but it doesn't sound like I'd be happy.

I'm 6'1" 230 lbs, wide shoulders and I just got to sit in some of the cloth recaros that have been sat in for about 500 miles. I loved them! There's no way I could now take the stock seats. The side bolsters were firm but just hugged you, and the seat bottom and thigh bolsters were amazing. So much better. The side bolsters "break in" to you after 200-300 miles.

All the wirinng should be right under the seat just a matter of pluging things in.Check around maybe someone is not happy with the standard seats and would be willing to trade.Remember the recaros are all leather the standard leather seats are not 100% leather.

Im 5'11", maybe 240 or so, I got the chance to sit in a leather recaro and it felt very tight, still ordered them on mine anyways, they look too good not too haha, I am sure the cloth recaro at least will break in a bit. Also may give me an incentive to lose a few inches on my waist.

It may possible have the wiring but you wont have the buttons to operate the heated and cooled seats.

All the seats are too snug in my opinion. I have the base seats. They are too tight on the lats, but it is tolerable and an improvement over the seats in my 2011 as far as holding me in place during cornering. The base of the seat is far too narrow for my hips as well, which is more of a problem. I am a big guy at 6'4" 230, but I'm trying to decide whether I'm going to have to modify them in some way.

I am similarly sized (6'2", 235 lbs) and was concerned about the hip bolstering. They do break in and feel differently. I find them now to be nicely supportive. I suggest giving it a few weeks.

After having driven with the base (Premium, 50th Anniversary) seats, I can't imagine why somebody would want the Recaros on a daily driver. Very comfortable, very nicely bolstered. Just fantastic.

I daily drive the Recaro seats in my 2014 and they are fantastic. Only thing I wish they had was heating

My original order was for red line Recaros but once they finally came out with pictures I called my dealer that day to switch to standard. I love the feel of the seats but they really need to make them look better. Even the Focus ST has nicer looking Recaros than the GT.
