Two OEM fuel pump setups above, right? What's the difference? Not trying to waste your time so I'll tell... the little plastic tube going from fuel pump to basket (guessing this creates the siphon/vacuum puling fuel from the passenger side). Well in order to separate pump/filter from actual basket you have to 'remove' this tube. Little heat or a small snip (there's a fair amount of length to this tube) and after prying three tabs back, the two come apart. Problem is putting it back together...can't find this tube anywhere. Unable to find original manufacture for the FP modules (guessing Delphi)...unable to find parts, only complete modules. Anyone have info/source for heat shrinkable gasoline submersible microscopic tubing? TIA

I can tell you all about that tube and what it does but the short answer is I couldn’t find one either. I procured one in a dw400 install kit which is $40. Dw may sell you just the tube. It’s .200” id on the ends so you might confirm the pump outlet first.

Interesting, thanks! I measured the little gold port at 2.95mm so I got a fuel compatible 3mm tubing off McMaster-Carr...with a little heat it will fit perfectly on the pump....the basket? Not so much, that side (in typical Ford fashion) is larger...grrrrrrr. I'll check out that DW400 install kit... the tube that you got in that kit, rubber or plastic? Heat shrinkable? Or did they provide some kind of micro clamp?

Don't know why I typed all of that before just looking it up LOL

Plastic tubing and tiny clamps....got it! I'll hit them up and see if I can get the pieces....thanks again.

Isn't aggravating things like this aren't more readily accessible? I swear they are trying to dumb us down..."just replace the whole thing [cha-ching!]"

If you are saying that the bucket side is larger, maybe you need this one. 3mm on one end, 5mm on the other

@Cobra Jet and @SheepDog for the WIN!! You guys are awesome (and just for the record, I am the worst Google(r) in history). I look for part numbers of what I'm trying to find first and get stuck right there.... all three of you folks are correct, that is the part I need. I think the 3mm/5mm will do the trick.

Now, where can I find classes on how to Google in today's world.....

I've used many Racetronix products in my time, never had an issue with any of it. Can't same the same for more expensive stuff...
