Rear Window - cleaning

HS.. took a long ride in the sun & could not believe how bad the inside rear window was. Got home & gabbed cleaner & paper towels & put myself in the back seat. What a pain in the you know what. I literally had to power rub to get whatever it was off. Looks great but now I'm hurting. I'm thinking of having a custom shop do a window lift like some corvettes have with shocks like I have on the hood. Has anyone done this?
