I have a stock 22 Mach 1 HP with the automatic transmission. Michelin PS4 tires. Occasionally, while rolling along around 50 MPH I will go WOT and I swear I feel some rear wheel spin. Nothing dramatic, just getting a little loose when I put my foot into it. Anyone else experience this? I'm told that the GT500 will definitly do it but I didn't think the torque numbers on the Mach 1 would be enough to promote a bit of wheel spin at 50. Thanks, y'all.

Makes sense with an auto. They have a ton of gears they can downshift past. Lot of torque multiplication.

What temperature outside? Cold weather means tire spin

Under 50° you will have wheel spin with tires

Tire age, thread depth, road conditions (morning dew) are things to consider. I have 3 yr old stock MPS4 and I’m noticing increased slippage. I just changed to them from my summer setup of conti ecs. It’s likely to be due to the heavier wheels and narrower tires.

Michelin PS4 or Michellin PS4S?

The PS4 is not at the same level as the MP4S

I'm a bit puzzled by this. Did you disable traction control or was in Track Mode? Grazi.
