My question is why does it have a 3L55 on one tag and then a 3H55 on the other tag? I got mine today and am questioning it being L for limited slip basically and the H stands for ? Thoughts?

The stickers show the part numbers for the two housing case halves and not the differential as a whole perhaps?

This is very interesting to me. My car is a ‘16 GT MT82; window sticker says i have 3.55 gears, and i swear my housing is aluminum. (Not rust colored) Now i’m going to have to stick a magnet on it 🥸 Everything i’ve read here is making me wonder if it’s original to the car

Try to look through the differential from side to side. If you can see through it is a Torsen. All S550 differentials are limited slip, it's just a question of clutch pack or worm gears.
