I've had this same feeling in my Bullitt and my 2003 Mach1 where if I hit a bump the rear feels like it is doing a small jump to the right. I'm not sure if its ME or just something with how all Mustangs/RWD vehicles are as the only RWD vehicles I've driven are Mustangs. I'm not sure how to describe it other than I hit a bump at road speed, rear feels like it hops a bit to the right when going over it.

If it is something with the car is there anything I can do to eliminate it? I definitely do NOT get this sensation in say my CRV (AWD) or any FWD cars I've had.

Get your alignment checked. If it consistently slips to one side when traction is interrupted theres a good chance your toe is a bit uneven back there.

Second on the alignment - it was my first thought before seeing NightmareMoon's response.
