As expected the BBB report did absolutely no good. Friday is 4 months at the dealer. there is nothing i can do. i am livid. once i get car back i will sell even for a loss. fuck ford and their shitty customer service. this isnt an issue waiting on parts, engine is at dealer, car is at dealer. i dont care what anyone says, 4 months without a car i am paying for is wrong. Ford does not care.
You were more than nice enough and worked with these guys for longer than most would tolerate. It’s such a shame and I’m so sorry that they haven’t been any help at all. I don’t blame you one bit.

Sounds like it's time to cause a scene in your dealership lobby... Totally not my style and sounds like not yours either but sometimes losing your shit face to face will actually get better results. As said a few times in the 14 pages of posts, they've been dicking you around more than average people would put up with. Maybe call and see about a cop escorting you in and let them know he's there for their protection lol. IDK, has to be something a little more forceful but not illegal you can do. I want to say not to blame Ford but they are really not handling your situation well at all. I wish you the best.

Long thread Sorry for your misfortune.

Is the car together, is it driveable?

Either way you need to remove it from the dealership.

Take control of the situation. IMO

Thanks i appreciate that. If i thought it would work i would, but i cant do that. i have a kid, a good job i cant jeopardize. im just going to sell car once i get it back and say bye to ford. after owning 9 Fords i guess it is not enough for Ford to keep a customer.

I dont think its driveable atm. The new long block is at the dealer. Ive tried a couple other "close" dealers and they wont touch it. im pretty screwed.

Ford can only make a dealer do so much.

The main problem is this dealer.

They are the stereotypical STEALERSHIP

Maybe - but Ford has had opportunities to make this right. The car has 12k miles. They have told me no buyback because of my shite state laws and they also will make no payment reimbursement because of 3/36k warranty. From my BBB report all that happened was Ford corp says work w/dealer. Total lack of customer service. i will not support a company like this any longer. which sucks because i love mustangs.

Same thing happened to me with my situation... no customer service, wouldn't stand behind their product, wouldn't help me in the slightest bit even with a vehicle still well under warranty. I still love Mustangs and most of my friends have 5.0s at this time... but I switched to a 1LE Camaro and it's just rippin'.

I understand. To tell you the truth, we missed the party by 1 model year. Mine was a 2018 like yours with low mileage. The Gen 2 S550s are the best around..... the 2015-17s are super good. My friend has over 115k on his and she's still running like a tank. We just got the wrong year with a company that won't stand behind their product.

(Believe me... I'm NOT one sided..... I have a GM product and they might not stand by it either if something bad happens... but I did a lot of homework on this car and it's been very good).

And it looks great! That blue with black really speaks to me.

I've had zero issues with my '19 GT and many others also have no issues. Unfortunately those that do voice their issues for us to see. Those without issues simply drive the piss out of their cars as they should lol. So what if I had to pop a body panel in place when my order came in, or the body panels are all over the place hahaha!!

Charger was a close 2nd for me when selecting my car. Dodge is just too proud of their hp IMO. LOVE they way it feels and operates though!

Camaro's look awesome but can't stand the interior, just doesn't work for my body measurements. I'd be very curious to try out their BLIS system though.

Both the above cars would also lend themselves better to an auto trans for me too. I love my mustang and rowing it's gears. It may be a little noisy but I can't hear it after opening the exhaust up a bit. It most certainly goes like hell.
