We set out to join the S550 club but ended up in the S197 club. We are also in the SN95 club.

It looks like the dealer is doing a buyback on the 2014 we purchased last week. Without boring everyone to death, the car has a lot of problems. The dealer is a reputable Ford dealership, I have no problems with continuing to do business with them. Like Gump says, "it happens".

I really want a 2016 white coupe. Im not sure how to get what I want in it. I don't like black wheels, I like leather, nav, AT, 3.55 gears.

The wife wants a white convertible or coupe, 6 speed, leather, 3.7, she doesn't like black wheels and doesn't want to pay for premium fuel. Shes cheap.

We grew up in the 60s, our idea of what a Mustang is comes from that era.

So how do I get a white V6, 6 speed, 3.55 gears, leather and nav that Ford doesn't make without sending her into cardiac arrest over the price?

We paid 22k for the 2014 that Ford is buying back, she doesn't want to spend over 25k, we can afford anything on the lot.

Sorry to hear about the problems. What happened? In my neck of the woods there are quite a few 2015 V6's left over. If you don't mind the car being a year old right out of the gate I am seeing some killer deals on them. None of the engines require premium fuel so your wife can rest at ease on that issue. Search the hell out of the dealerships within a few hundred miles of your home and you will most likely find one in that price range if the dealer truly wants it off the lot. Again, sorry to hear about your issues but you will love the S550.

You can get the 3.55 gears but you aren't going to be able to get factory leather or nav on a v6.

As Oracle mentions, you won't be able to grab the leather seats factory but I have seen them sell takeoff sets on e-bay for about $700 at the low end. That will be the only way you'll be able to get leather on a V6.

Since it was all in capital letters I though "RATS" stood for something like, Race and Track System or Road and Track Systen. Duh!!! Shit, there is so much technology out there now, it could be anything:doh:

Anyway, sorry OP for your issues. White is a great choice. I wanted all the bells and whistles, so I went all out on a white vert.

Good luck. Hope you find one.

As mentioned just get the v6 and swap the leather seat covers from a premium. Pretty much the only thing you'll be missing is the big fancy screen but I'm sure it won't be long before someone is selling a modified front faceplate to adapt one of those nice double din full screen aftermarket units.

You want leather, nav and no black wheels? Just get a non-PP GT Premium and call it a day. Skip the V6. You could probably find a 2015 floating around if you looked hard enough. Considering the 2017s will be hitting lots before too long, you may even score a deal on a 2016 if you wait a little longer. None of the S550s require premium fuel either. 87 octane will work fine, although Ford claims you won't get the same performance out of the car that you would if you were using 91-93 octane. Gas is so cheap right now that I can fill up around here with 93 octane for about $35. Sure beats the days back when regular unleaded was $4/gallon and I had a Jeep Grand Cherokee with a 26 gallon tank!

just get a V6 and get custom leather put in for 1400 or so. Their also is a DIY thread to upgrade the screen. But takes lots of effort. I did get my ecoboost prem with pp for 25,500+ TTL (left over 15 when 16 hit the lots) so without the pp option you might be able to get close to the 25,000 the wife wants. With a light foot the 4 banger gets better mpg.

I'm not sure how long you plan to keep the car - navigation might not be worth it anyway - not sure if it's still the case, a buddy put navigation in his 07, and for a long time he was unable to update anything. The few times I need navigation, I just use my $200 Garmin - which can be moved from car-to-car, and when it's not usable, I can toss it for another. Maybe do Katskin for the seats?

You'll need at least an ecoboost to get everything you want from the factory. Look around for a used one, lots of people trade them in for gt's :p

Just get a non PP EB Premium and done.
It will run fine on 91 (ford says 87 is ok but I would never put that in any performance engine) I can get over 30mpg on the highway which more than makes up for 93.

V6 is a no go as mentioned, you can get everything you want with everything you don't want in a Premium Ecoboost and as also mentioned they can be had cheap as people trade them in a lot for GT's.
