Let me look and see if I have any more paint. The speed bit was loaned to me from @kilobravo. Maybe he can pipe in and indicate which one it was.
I'll let you all know when I get home after I see if I still have the paint and the clear coat.
Any luck on the paint supplies?Let me look and see if I have any more paint. The speed bit was loaned to me from @kilobravo. Maybe he can pipe in and indicate which one it was.

I hate to say that I used up all the black a while ago. I wasn't sure until I checked just now. Its Ford ebony black. You can go to an auto paint supply store and most will mix it and put in in a rattle can. You can also buy the clear coat in a rattle can. I may be able to locate the template for drilling the door cover, but I will have to look for it. Im sure it is laying around somewhere. I can scan it and turn it into a pdf. From there, if it was printed to exact size, that would be a transferable template that could be drilled with the step bit that Kent showed above.Any luck on the paint supplies?
its not difficult. The only problem is drilling the hole in the right spot. I have a template that I will upload. Thanks for the effort! I can always try to make one on my end. No sense in putting you to extra effort. I appreciate you regardless!
Tom: PDF's are designed to print to actual size so if the drawing in the PDF is to scale, the printout will be as well.if it was printed to exact size,
under the print options, there are options to fit. for example, I can print a large pdf onto a single pice of paper if I select the "fit" option. You can also use the "to scale" option.Tom: PDF's are designed to print to actual size so if the drawing in the PDF is to scale, the printout will be as well.
Isnt that what I just said? My graphic was to help people who had their setting on "to fit". If they don't won't come out right. I like you have been using Adobe since it's been in circulation.<smiling> Thanks, Tom but you're talking to someone who has been creating and printing PDF's for about thirty years.
My point was that PDF's will print to exact dimensions not a full page. If you use "fit" and then try to make a template, it won't be to size.
Thank you for the help man. You provided assistance and substance and it is greatly appreciated. I have it printed!Isnt that what I just said? Thanks for the advice on the bit though.
