I was wondering that myself. Of course, I originally was going with Race Red, but that was with a convertible. I thought it would go over better than Ruby Red.

I love red cars, but I have never liked how much orange there is in the red on Ford cars.

My 2006 is Redfire, and my 2015 will be Ruby.

I don't know, but if that means fewer of "me" around, then hoorah. My husband wanted black, but this is my car and I said race red all the way!

I agree with qwkynuf (clever name btw) the race red isn't quite dark enough for me and while ruby red looks brilliant at times, it just isn't for me. If they made a darker red but not as dark as ruby I would have been all over it.

I can only speak for myself here, but I don't think the brighter colors show the sculpted lines of the S550 as well as darker colors. I also think Race Red specifically looks almost like plastic to me.

I wanted bright red so bad. Race red, however is too orange for me. I've gotten the same complaint from several buddies that have ordered 2015 F-150s recently.

+1000000! I was between race red and ingot. If it was like a Ferrari red then I'd be all over it! Too much orange in it for me.

Exactly. I really wanted to get a red mustang but just couldn't since it's not the right red.

There is no orange to race red, bad cameras do that. I originally wanted Magnetic but had a gray car and was bored quickly and dib has too much purple.

Ok or more like I wanted a different color than the normal silver/gray blue my family has

Race red all the way! I love blue but in my opinion DIB is too purplish. And my wife said "a Mustang should be bright red." So with her blessing I'm waiting anxiously for it to arrive. (Ordered 7/15)

Me too. Initially wanted yellow but all of my friend thinks it's ugly so eventually listening to my wife I picked the race red. Hope it's a nice colour (Ferrari like red... w/o orange in it )
