Yes, you said every part of that.

Do I really need to go back through and re-quote all of it? This is a tiring game to play. Exhausting.
It's only exhausting because you're making a mountain out of a molehill.

My car is only programmed for quiet mode from 11 PM - 8 AM. However, I often find myself wanting to start in quiet mode outside of those hours when I'm at my fiancé's condo. I just turn on ACC, change to quiet mode and then start the car and it always starts in quiet mode... I never have to change the programmed settings and fully power down. I'm 100% sure it IS actually starting in quiet mode as there is a very noticeable difference between quiet mode and normal mode in a 5.0 with headers and corsa extremes lol. Not sure why others aren't experiencing the same functionality 🤷‍♂️

Strange. It doesn't work like this for me. I turn on accessory power, navigate to the exhaust mode menu, go to Quiet and press OK to select it. So far, so good. But if I now press the engine start button, I see the selection in the menu move to Normal of its own accord, while the engine starts in normal mode. I must press Up and OK again after the engine has started in order to actually engage the Quiet mode.
Maybe they changed the behaviour from one manufacturing year to the next. Or maybe it's because mine is Euro-spec.

Same for my 2020, I tried it today just to make sure I wasn't remembering wrong.

I can't speak for the OP, but I don't want to do that simply because there's just one single case when I need the Quiet mode, which occurs very rarely. Namely, when I leave home early in the morning (which I seldom do). That's it. Everywhere else, and/or at any other time of day, I want the engine to burble nicely and loudly, as it's supposed to. I don't want it to sound like a Honda for a couple of seconds until I flip the drive mode switch. I want it to sound like a Mustang right away. The instances in which I need it to sound like a Honda are much fewer and rarer than the others.
You can program it to be quiet for just your case...set it to 530am-630am or whatever the hour is you leave...on seldom times you do leave early it will already be quiet. It's what I do and then when I am out of the neighborhood if I want I throw it into track for the noise. The other 23 hours it will start in normal.

Also with it being active, if you get on it it will open the damper and will be loud.

I’ll try to remember and grab a quick video next time I drive the car!

Oh, I do believe you. I wasn't being argumentative. Most likely they changed something in 2020.
All good! I didn’t take it that way. Maybe they did change something? Video taken this morning.
