Quiet Start vs. Active Exhaust

OK, now I understand. Thank you.
Out of curiosity, how loud was the exhaust in the 2015-2017 GTs, before the introduction of the AE? Was it like the Normal mode?

I do not have the 15-17 numbers but here are the ones for the Active Exhaust.

In decibels
Normal 111.9
Quiet. 100.7
Sport. 113.4
Track. 114.3

By the way 11.2 dB is significant. When I go quite, it’s almost unnoticeable.

My 2016 GT was slightly louder than my 2019 GT’s quiet mode, definitely not as loud as normal.

I leave the house at 430am and quiet mode is definitely a lot quieter than normal.
