Quicker throttle response

If you have one and feel that it works great, why did you quote me and criticize me when I said and have been saying the exact same thing on this thread since my first post? If anything, we're on the same side and you're making me out to be in disagreement with you

I quoted you to show the double standard in your arguments between the CAI thread and this one, but I fear you've misunderstood that too.

I'm in agreement with a lot of people in this thread, on both sides. We've heard from pedal commander directly, and even they didn't fully explain how this product works, or back it up with any data. I have the Pedalmax, and it does exactly what I wanted, which was liven up the responsiveness. At this stage I'm happy with my limited knowledge of how it works, because I believe it does work. I'm under no illusions that it makes my car any faster, yes I've lost resolution and there's a dead space, none of which are a concern to me. We can all agree that it's way too expensive though.

There are fanatics on both sides here though, which is why this thread has gone on for so long.

Looking at the differences between the two (Pedal Max vs Pedal Commander), I think I will try the Pedal Commander since I can use it on my Jeep too!! And it has more control options!

It's only scaling the voltage output of the throttle pedal position, so it makes the throttle open more for a given pedal displacement. If it actually were able to alter driver demand tables, then I'd be all in. You can only do that with a tune.

What you are overlooking is that PedalMax may be looking 1/2 second into the future and applies the throttle before you actually push on it eliminating the lag built in by Ford.
