I went with Procharger. I like that the Car drives like it did out of the box but when I want the power it there since it kicks in around 3k RPM. I went with the P1X Stage 2 install keeping the factory box using Procharger tune. The main reason is I live in California and have to deal with CARB.

Just curious, why no interest in a centrifugal? Aren't all 3 just fine for a daily? (Paxton, Vortech and Procharger) And very usable on the street? Whereas the roots/screw blowers are somewhat unusable in first and second for the most part? Unless you get some monster rear tires. I'm specifically talking about OP's application where it's for a daily driver and not much else added for mods.

Simply curious, that's all.

Just to add, my last Mustang was a 2004 Cobra purchased new. It has been a LONG time obviously. I remember doing all the basic bolts ons for that car, including the ported blower. At that point it was pretty much useless on the street in first and second gear. So I can imagine how bad a roots/screw blower would be on these S550's. Quite a bit more power than what I had.
Was mainly looking to keep a warranty for the power train as long as possible. Which left really only EB and Roush. I like the fact that Roush is partnered with Ford in a sense and many people on the canned tune have said they don't have too bad a time DD'ing. I have a few more supporting mods that I'm installing this winter that are already in my possession. I did look at Procharger though. If my car was older or past the 36K miles point I would have went whipple more than likely. But in all honesty I'm still a novice. Roush will give me the extra umph I need/want and give me peace of mind with the warranty.

Personally I only have a small amount of experience with centrifugal kits on smaller engines and they just seemed to shift the power band upward at an angle with basically a steeper power curve. Improved top end but not much going on down low. On the other hand I have not experience a positive displacement blower so I'm curious about them and their huge low end torque advantage.

Looking to buy a kit in the next two weeks. Was looking at Roush Phase 2 but a few posts in different threads mentioned to stay away with a gen 3 coyote without really mentioning why. Can anyone shed light on this? Other alternatives I looked at were Edelbrock, Procharger, and On3 single turbo kit. Not really looking to go past $7,500 and if I can stay under that I will. Mainly looking for a bit more power for daily driving fun and sometimes the strip. Also, if anyone knows a performance shop in or near Seattle that would be amazing. Thanks for your time!
Positive Displacement is a great way to go for a daily/fun around town car. Roush uses the TVS internals for their design which is what Ford uses in the GT500.

Alright, I went with the Roush Phase 2 from Beefcake. Got a pretty decent price IMO. Right now the last piece of the puzzle, should I upgrade my OPG's and CS on my 2019 5.0 or leave alone? I'm definitely going to have fun with this set up but won't be pushing it on the daily. If it is a necessary thing then I will shell out the money for them.

You can ask this and probably come with a 50/50 split every time. I will say that given the investment you're making, a bit more to provide confidence and peace of mind for build seems worth it to me imo

Understandable. i think I'll just go with my gut and upgrade them with the install for peace of mind.

i agree with this man, i have spare axles just in case stock ones break but if they break thats only like $800+ with OPG if that fails say goodbye to the Engine
Yeah, I'm just going to throw the money down and be done. I rather be safe than sorry especially seeing as this is my entry into forced induction. Don't wanna be that guy that skimped out on a couple hundred and then blew his motor.

I have Roush Phase 2 installed. I had Lebanon Ford throw in OPGs, half-shafts and drive shaft while they were at it. I live in sunny-hot-humid Florida. I haven't done any "road racing" but I do play with it pretty hard. Crazy fun power! Check out Brenspeed's Roush Phase 2 dyno vids. Great power. You made the right choice especially if you wanted the warranty.

You better check with your dealership. because they will warranty any problems if you have the stock opg/CS. With the aftermarket opg/cs I can see them blaming anything that may happen on the opg/cs and not warranting the repair. Just because they installed it doesn’t mean they have to warranty it, even if it is better. Talk to them And get everything in writing

That is true. Might just talk with the service tech i go through and ask what he thinks.

I was under the impression that those aren't an issue with the Roush kit since the calibration comes with a much lower rev limit than stock (?)

That is what I have been reading too. The tech at Ford said not to worry about it because of this reason. Once my warranty is up and I go with a tune from VMP or Lund then he said go ahead and replace them. So I'll do that later down the line. I'm going to do a bit more digging and call Roush next week and see what they say about it too just to make sure.
