I have a vortech blower(basically a paxton). it put down 568 at wheels on stock everything. only other mods i have are wheels, tires, and Roush axle backs. I ran a 12.5 at 118 and i missed 3rd gear. 60ft was a 2.0 on street tires. drivability is great. I have the Vortech Race blow off valve upgrade so mine is very loud but the stock BOV seems quiet.

What 1/4 mile times would you expect to run with the procharger d1sc ?
Running e85 fuel.

You have stated that you have switched to a ysi unit on your car running the 9.3s but are over speeding the unit now.

What times do you think are achievable full weight with the procharger d1sc.

Thanks for the info
i think low 9s are possible with the d1,

the vortech jt, paxton 2200, procharger d1 are both very capable units and will fulfill 99% of most guys needs / growing.

I have the Paxton kit with everything else stock and really enjoy the package. I have yet to take it to the track but the drivability is very tame during normal driving and a kick in the a$$ when you punch it. From a dead stop, it is a little sluggish (normal NA power) in comparison to doing a punch from a roll. Where I find mine the most fun is kicking it at 20 - 40 and 60. The gearing drops just right and it pulls like a freight train. Kicking it at 20 with the TC off can cross you up real quick if you let it.

Mine is an auto with 3.15 gears and I am still on the stock 20's. If I had 3.55s or 3.73s, traction would be a real issue.

By the way, the Paxton is really quiet during idle and normal cruising.

what boost are u running? I have the auto and 20's as well. It sounds like your close to the power level that's the most street tires can handle?

I'm running the 3.60 pulley and the JLT air cleaner and hit 12 lbs. boost on the dyno.
