I don't have emissions testing so I can be of no help. I am sure it will come eventually but until then...

Who would need to take a new car to emissions already?? I have a tuner kit but im not due for emissions for another year.. An i have no doubt it will pass. I have no check engine light. All they do is a obd test here in ct on 96 and newer cars. No need to put it on the rollers or sniffer.

I had a car that I tuned myself with an sct pro racer package. Presuming that counts as a tuner kit?
So was that car subject to obdii testing and did it pass with your tune?

We go every year too, but not going to return a supercharged car to stock every year to pass obdii. Clearly im not as sure as you are. Love to know if you do pass. What kit do you have?

I'm curious about this too. Let's say you are catless, and have a Whipple and custom non Whipple tune... If the cel was tuned out, will you pass?

Is there a reason you dont want the emissions legal Whipple tune? Especially when you are worried about passing?

Whipple is on my list but im also interested in other alternatives. 1/4 mile times with Whipple kits seem off which is partly why im not sold. Id like the car to run 10's on a good street tire. I dont care about power figures as long as it gets me into the 10s.

Good point, I guess I hadn't thought of that, guess I forgot this model has only been out a short while and not many have had to get their smog check. Same here, only an OBDII test in my town.

Obsessed get the Whipple tune and get a KenB tune also, then you can go back and forth as needed for emissions.

It's like the guys selling the superchargers are avoiding threads on this topic.
What are they supposed to comment on tuner kits when they have no idea what your fueling situation is or who is tuning your car?

So my thought on that are the vendors have the most contact with people installing FI, they get asked more direct questions from potential buyers. They should have a pretty good idea on who's buying what and what their intentions and hopes are, what works and what doesn't. Why customers are happy and why they are not. You are correct in what you said, just thought since the forums are full of vendors that more would chime in on the subject. Maybe I'm wrong, but was just some wishful thinking.
