My build is coming along nicely with the help of CB005 & 06, I'll do vertical links next.

BMR Lockout Kit on Lowered Car?

Hoping Kelly with BMR will chime in here. Or any of you guys who might know the answer.

I'm lowered on Steeda's progressive springs and have a few other mods as listed in my signature block below.

I just ordered BMR's cradle bushing lockout kit. I'm assuming the lockout kit will work just fine with my lowered Mustang? Didn't even think about this before ordering the kit.

Thanks.

I’ve got my parts: BMR CB005, BK081, SP763, FC003; Steeda billet rear shock mounts and adjustable bumpstops; plus 19x10 6GRs with 285/35 and 19x11 with 325/30 on the rear. Wheels and tires are on and are amazing, I can’t believe what a difference the Michelins make. Thanks to all for the parts recommendations, install is Tuesday.

Now the questions:

1. Only use the base bumpstops, correct? Seems like Steeda confirmed this for the SP763 springs but wanted to confirm.

2. Rear camber - I believe need4speed and Paul have said -2 and others have quoted higher. Go with -1.9 or even higher given all the suspension bits and my wheel/tire setup?

Thanks again!

street camber

I'll advise to remain 1.5 neg or lower 1.1 on the street. No need for aggressive camber on the street. More than 1.5 will wear out your tires. I have Firestone "Lifetime alignment" and believe it's a good investment.

I love the way my car is with the stuff I have installed (see sig). So far, the vertical links are doing fine (I have the delrin bought used from another member)...fingers crossed on those. But the ride quality isn't harsh at all...sways may be next for me.

On the rear camber, I'd keep it about 0.2-0.4 more positive than the front. Mine is -1.5F/-1.2R. For handling, I don't see why the rear should be more negative than the front...for tire longevity, keep the rear fairly vertical and minimal toe (0.1 in).

Can’t get pictures to post from my phone. I will say the setup recommended that I installed is great so far. No extra suspension noise or harshness (vs pp) and it HITS off the line. One question for those with a similar setup: did you notice a bit more noise from the differential? Is it the lack of slop that makes it more noticeable? No clunking but I can definitely hear the the gears engaging in 1st from a stop. Going to find a flat surface to measure gap to make sure bushings were clocked and will try to take some pictures. Thanks again for all the recommendations!
