I am going to try to find somewhere today where I can try to hit the redline in 2nd and 3rd and take note of what the tachometer is showing. I am almost positive I've hit the limit at around 6500 rpm in 3rd a few times; it might actually be a little less than 6500 when it happens. I always drive in Sport+ mode.

I realize the cal is different for manuals vs 10A. The following pic is poor since it is just a screen shot from a video but it is showing 5th gear rpm a bit over 7000. I am not sure exactly what rpm it shifts at though. I think it shifts at higher rpm in the lower gears than in 5th or 6th.

I am pretty sure mine starts bouncing as though it has hit the rev limiter right around the 6-6500 rpm mark in 3rd gear.

In Roush's description of the cooling upgrade, they mention the trick that phase 2 has always had:

We recommend updating to the latest ROUSH Calibration after the Max Cooling Kit has been installed. Integrated into the calibration is our Engine Cool Down Feature. This feature allows you to activate a 3-minute cooldown by holding the brake and pressing the “SET+” button on your steering wheel. This will initiate the fans and force hot air out of the engine compartment to keep your motor and supercharger cool between passes at the track.

I did that for the first time today. At first I didn't think it worked. Turns out I couldn't hear the fans over the exhaust.

Turn off the engine and you will hear the fans loud and clear.

Yup, sure did. But not nearly as loud as my C7. Those are LOUD!

Matthewstorm how are you liking your Roush Phase 2 so far?
OMG! If I could marry this car. Man, it's so fun and exciting. A charger pulled up beside me on an empty HWY. I hit the SC and left him in the dust. Woot! I am SO glad I got the Roush.

I don't understand what people are talking about tire spinning. I get it from a standstill and I launch like a Tie Fighter. My foots on the gas and my body's in the trunk.

Turn it off and report back :)

Your car is faster with it off because it's not trying to overrule you and the tire spin, it's just up to you to finesse it...
