Question about whipple gen 5 ic pump

Hey guys. I just bought my whippled gt about a month ago. I can hear the intercooler pump kick on with key on after a few seconds. But no matter whether it's hot or cold it never goes above what you see in the Pic. Is this normal? I see the hot fill line but it always just hangs out down low. Running or not.

Have you added coolant? I know on my F150 the tank was bigger but even running it stayed up near the top.

Have to open the cap n see where it’s at. If it drops then add more. Sometimes it come up. All depends on the pressure build up

when I open the cap it goes to the top with key on but not running. and I have to put cap on before it spills out.

The IC fluid expansion is much less than engine coolant. Because of the lower temperature range.
