Hey everyone! I will likely be picking up some M350 wheels once my stock Pirellis are ready to be replaced (car is a GT PP). I will likely be putting Michelin Pilot Super Sports on them, and I would like to do a staggered setup. My question is this: what is the "ideal" tire width to go with on a staggered setup for the best handling? I was thinking of going with a 285/305 setup. The car is not a daily driver--just for fun drives and a couple HPDEs a year. Thanks in advance for the help!

You have a few choices but the popular options that we have recommended and done is

285/35/19 & 305/35/19

or

285/35/19 & 325/30/19

I ordered 285/35 and 305/35 MPSS through Discoint Tire. Install scheduled for Monday morning, so I'll know how it works out then.

You can yes, but the issue is finding a matching pair front and back there is only a full Hoosier slick.

So 99% of members that do this use a 285/325 tire combo as there are a good amount of options for this application.

Though the 35 series isn't 'required', I wouldn't run the 275/40 all around. Too tall IMO, especially for the front.

I would go 275/35 all around or 275/35 front and 305/35 rear. I'm running 20x10's with 275/35 front and 305/35 rears. I love it.

275/40s are stock on gtpp. the only question is whether id run into any issues running that on fronts. read other threads that squared 275/40s is just fine. also i kinda need the extra sidewall. potholes where i live are insane.

It completely slipped my mind that you guys are talking about 19" wheels... I was thinking about the 275/40 on a 20" wheel lol!

You can easily run a 275/40 all around without issues I have done it many times.
