What does it mean if my order doesn't show on cotus?
Could've been ordered as dealer stock in a big batch and thats why the order isn't showing. Or maybe they didn't actually place the order...

I hope not. I have an order number. I ordered 7/21. I called today and was told it may have been ordered as stock.

Change Mustang Order

So. My order is still showing up as in Order Processing in COTUS, I emailed my dealer and he is saying the order has been picked up and the only way I could change it would be to order another completely different mustang. If any other dealers could chime in and let me know if this is completely true.all I wanted to do was replace all my packages I currently had (43S, 68B, and 20" rims) for just the PP. Order Number m102 Dealer Code F48057E

I'm not a dealer, but if it's a Retail order that's still in processing and has not been assigned a VIN, I don't think it's been pulled... and you should be able to make changes.

Order Change

Tony is correct. You can change the order up until the date of build without affecting the build date. However note that if there is a shortage of parts or materials (that are required for your vehicle) this can cause a delay. For example you change to Recaro seats and the factory is out this would cause delay.
My dealer said previously that he had put the order in as retail and a stock order( not sure how much that effects it) . but reading FiveLiterDreamers post earlier ( he seems to be a dealer from Dearborn) you can make changes up until the date of build, which I haven't received yet, and still would be in the future either way.

Hello from Cincinnati. You should be able to make those changes. Was indicated which order would be changed and why the aversion to changing it?

Always good to see another Cincinnatian on here. Thank you. I wonder why my dealer told me I couldn't change it without ordering a completely new car then. Seems crazy I would have to do that just to change my packages. The reason why I wanted the change was It seemed crazy not to get the Power Package with all that it comes with for virtually the same cost of the packages I already had.

My order was placed yesterday and I received a VIN number this morning. It's currently in order processing on cotus. I'm having some second thoughts on the color, would that affect my priority if I change it soon?

Confused, first you mentioned last week and now you say yesterday...which day is it you ordered?

Forgive my skepticism but I don't think anyone ever get's a VIN that fast...

I shook hands with the dealer last week, they said the order wasn't pulled by Ford until yesterday (which is the date that appears on cotus and my VOC), and I received my VIN this morning. A lot of others who ordered recently are reporting the same thing, I feel bad for those who ordered earlier but I'm not making this up.
