Thinking about getting some rear quarter window louvers in gloss black, but not made up my mind yet, I see they are quite expensive on the main websites like £290.

On the other hand there are cheap versions on eBay like £20. May just order some because of how cheap they are.
Eg- https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/402159077217

What sort of experience have people had with cheaper parts from Wish and Ebay as opposed to the more expensive ones.

As they say, you get what you pay for. Personally, I stay away from the cheaper priced parts. Looking at the ones you linked to Ebay, the material looks really flimsy and thin, so thin I bet if you held it by the smaller end and waved it in the air, it would most likely bend and possibly even break.

I’ve got the cheap ones! They are spot on, good fit and look great in my opinion. You are simply going to be double sided taping these to your side windows not waving them about so no point spending silly money on these at all when the £20 ones do the job :like:

Same, i've got the plain black ABS versions which match the lips all round, not gloss, and they're spot on - perfect fit and build quality. Mine were £17.

Thanks for the replies, think I'll just order the cheap ones and see how it goes, if they look the part and everything. Does water and dust, ever get trapped behind against the window?

Finally delivered and on the car, decent quality, left gaps in the tape along the bottom edge to help any water easily drain out (hopefully still strong enough to hold on though) although one corner struggling to stick down, may slide some different tape up there.

I wouldn't spend too much as they are only taped on. I lost one whilst on the motorway as the previous owner had used sub standard adhesive. Replaced and did myself with proper automotive tape and, as others have already said here, made sure to leave tape gaps at the bottom edge to let water drain out.
