Well, I heard back from Ford Australia today and they say my NSC number indicates a March 2016 build time. They also said they aim to have the keys in my hand within 90 days of the build time, which would mean June 2016.

Well I saw my first Mustangs in the flesh this week - 5 months after placing my order.

Absolutely awesome looking car with amazing presence, I wasn't disappointed.

Bremer Ford @ Ipswich have a Black GT convertible in the showroom for about another week if anyone's interested in seeing one in the flesh.

I used the same guy that has done work on all our other cars. He is at NorthLakes - not sure if that is suitable for you. He is mobile, and will come to you.

I have used Tintacar at Redcliffe with previous cars, and have had no complaints.

My car is booked in next week with Express Tint at Virginia. They will tint the windows, and apply opti-coat pro paint and interior protection!

I'm going to use Preferred Car Care for tinting and Ceramic Pro paint protection. Customer service is everything to them and Justin the owner knows his stuff and only uses good products (and they are mobile).

My price was $1295 for 3M tint of choice + opticoat pro paint protection, and opticoat interior protection.

We already had her tinted before new year...so when we organised the paint protection etc it worked out as follows:

$675 for the Opticoat ceramic for the exterior
$350 for the Opticoat interior protection
$80 for the wheel faces... (or $80 per wheel if you wanted the entire wheel done)

I would contact Byron from Tint a Car at Milton, he's a true professional with really high attention to detail.

I've used him for two previous vehicles - both of which had an absolutely flawless job done. A bunch of friends and acquaintances have used him also and had the same feedback.

I'm going to be seeing him asap after I take delivery.

Was at Moorooka Ford today and saw a RR GT in the showroom.
To be frank, the clear taillights are not that bad at all. I dont mind it at all.
I had a quick look at the fitting alignment of the car and it was all pretty straight and tidy.
Except for a 30cm scratch on the boot lid that is so heads up to whoever is about to take delivery of the RR GT at Moorooka.
I'm sure it'll buff though tho.
