Anyone running these? seem like a cheap mod and I like the sound....BUT not sure if anyone has them and could comment on any drone.

It's essentially straight pipe, I'd expect drone. My buddy has them on is 2014 v6 performance pack mustang, it drones bad.

I had them on my 12 GT. I loved the sound from the outside, which was a deep muscle care tone. However, they did have a pretty significant drone. It didn't bother me personally, but it was quite annoying whenever I had passengers. They are a great mod for the price if you can deal with the drone.

daltron I'm very curious as to what the h pipe and pypes sound like together. Im in the "too many options for exhaust" phase. So im trying to get a better idea of what different stuff sounds like. If you could post a video after install that would be awesome!

Will do for sure! Yeah, I hear ya. I felt that way too. In the end I wanted something loud and throaty. I was deciding between this and the MBRP Race catback, but in the end I went with an H-pipe and the muffler delete Pype's because I loved my muffler delete on my 05 GT. Just checked tracking and it says now end of day Monday, so I should have them installed sometime that week, definitely by Saturday the 19th and I'll post a video of cold start, warm idle, revs, etc and try to give my impressions on drone as well.

I got the Pypes Bomb about a month ago and it sounds great! It's paired with a straight pipe resonator delete as well. I've taken it on a 2 hour drive and as long as you're in 6th going 65 you don't really notice it over the sound of your radio without even turning the radio mid volume. Only real complaint is that it's very loud on a cold start. Here's what my setup sounds like if you need a reference.

Not for me, but that's sure a unique sounding system.

Got the h pipe and Pypes on today...

LOUD. AGGRESSIVE. ANGRY.

HOLY CRAP IS IT LOUD. Even shifting at 2.5-3K it is LOUD. I previously had an 05 GT with muffler deletes and this is significantly louder and has a much more... exotic tone? At least to me. On the way home all I could think of is if I see a cop I have to shift at 2K LOL.

OK, now the thing everyone is wondering about, drone... It was hard to give it a thorough review because it was just a 9 mile ride home all city and lots of traffic. Drone appears to be somewhere around the range of 1,800-2,000 RPM. Accelerating you hear it a lot more than if you are just cruising in this rev range.

I'll have to get a video outside and inside the car.

I've had the Pypes muffler deletes on my last 3 mustangs: 08 Bullitt, 11 brembo, and now my 2015 gtpp. I personally like the sound that it offers. I first installed just the Pypes on my 2015 and there wasn't any drone that I noticed. I have since installed a Heartthrob h-pipe and man it is very loud and muscular sounding. There is a drone in any gear at 2000 rpms but it doesnt bother me. I got them installed with 400 miles and now I have 1800 miles. Cold starts are amazing
