This could be huge. The Camaro just hasn't seemed like a success in recent years so I wouldn't be surprised but it's still major new .
yeah gtis with stage 2 plus are absolutely insane. the amount of power combined with the low weight really makes for a fun car. ecoboosts are great cars but suffer from serious weight problems lol. as does the gt. i can easily out handle a gt in the mountains simply because my car handles...
I mean it handles much better just because its smaller. Not sure why it matters so much to you lol. I have had nothing but rwd cars my whole life. As I said I'm saving for my next car. But itll prolly be something with a smaller engine since handling is more my thing.
23 is way out of budget unfortunately. my budget is 18k and less. thats why the v6 and ecoboost are better contenders for my range. you're right tho-23k is an amazing deal for 435hp and a manual lol
i mean like i said in my area a highly used gt is going for the cheapest 19k with 125k miles. just goes up from there. for a lightly used one its about 27-30k which is way more than upgrading a smaller displacement car if done correctly.
so the ecoboost is really drawing my attention because theres one for sale here thats fully loaded. I mean literally has every option for under 20k and has 60k miles which im not worried about becuase ill be getting extended warranty. again my biggest gripe is the sound. it bothers me that ford...
so if i were to go with the ecoboost since alot more comes standard because i can get the premium-my goal would be 400 hp/tq at the wheels. i know this is entirely possible and would be willing to spend the money as needed. Ive decided what ill do in terms of mustangs for the future-get one now...
you know i actually looked at them as well., you can get the premium trim tbh. so thats a huge plus. the BIGGEST downside is that the aftermarket support in terms of power for the v6 camaro is non existent. theres on supercharger and it is not the best power output for the money.
these are all great replies. essentially my dilemma still stands lol. I want the eco because I don't have to spend the money upgrading it interior wise to a premium trim. But I don't want the eco because I worry about the sound they make with a custom exhaust. I really would like a v6 because...
wow thanks for all the support here. This is what really makes me want the Mustang over my other choices is just the absurdly large amount(in a good way of course) support you get. Right now my choices boil down the these options and in no particular order or anything:
1. VW mk6 or MK7...
so you're telling me that your procharged v6 feels just as fun to drive as a gt? if thats the case then maybe a v6 is the way to go. I am really curious becuase i have had an ecoboost and 3 gt's but never a v6. How would you describe your daily driving? do you have enough power down low or is it...
