Pypes Exhaust is proud to introduce The Pype Bomb Axle back for the 2015 Mustang GT. This cut and clamp system fits both the coupe and convertible models producing that very aggressive exhaust note that the Pype Bomb is know for.

The systems are constructed of 16 gauge, mandrel bent 304 Stainless Steel and feature over sized 4” resonated tips which adds power, economy and a deeper, very aggressive sound. Kits come complete with all necessary hardware for installation. The standard finish is polished or for that sinister look, our Phantom Series black powder-coated can be selected as an option.

As with all Pypes products, they are backed by a limited lifetime warranty and offer a bargain for Mustang owners looking to upgrade the sound and efficiency of their exhaust systems. They are in stock and ready to ship.

we'll have them on the site later today!

Pype Bomb install - Difficult

Put the black Pype Bomb axlebacks on my 17 GT PP yesterday, 04/14/17, [sorry Beef, got them from another vendor along with some other things]. No other work, just the tailpipes. The driver's side was on in about 20-minutes, and fit perfectly. The passenger side pipe was a total cluster$@#%. It was at LEAST 3/4-inch offset inboard and was high as well. Had to cut the existing exhaust twice, had to cut a little off the end of the PB pipe so it would pivot closer to where needed, and worst of all had to adjust the final bend of the welded-on bracket, which took heating with torch and a pipe [I was afraid I'd break it at the bend or rip it off the resonator because it is very stiff steel] and the angle was odd. That took three heat-and-test-fits, with cooling, etc.. And after first trying to just crank down the clamp, we still had to put a spotweld on the pipe connection to keep the angle to get the tip centered in the valence opening perfectly. It took over three hours to get that pipe right. It is on the car and looks good, but man, what a freakin' battle.

Oh yeah, the black coating is not very tough. Despite keeping it wrapped up, there are a few spots where it seems to be coming off [one just inside the trumpet on the drivers' and the plastic valence marred it on the passenger side, couple of other tiny spots. Luckily that's what black Sharpie is for. After heating it, the passenger side bracket needs a shot of black spray paint though. LOL

Thanks forever to Frontino Racing in San Dimas, CA. Bob F is a gentleman and a perfectionist and a great friend at the same time. #FrontinoRacing

I have the stainless Pype Bombs on my Legend Lime 05 Mustang GT - and they've been on for MANY years and I love them. As I recall on that install, the passenger side was not quite perfect, but it was a LOT better than the new version. They also sound a bit different on the Coyote... LOL
