They can be push started. If I'm rolling down nose-out from a driveway, I pop the clutch in 2nd to start off smoothly.

I read a lot of, "it should be able to", or "probably not".

I did manage to bump start my car yesterday.

1. Put car in acc by pressing start w/o clutch or brake pedal.
2. parking brake engaged (you can also use your foot on brake pedal, but remember, no engine power so brake is all manual, and it was a bit much for two feet, so decided to use parking brake).
3. clutch in and shift to gear. My car was facing backwards down a hill, so I put mine in Reverse. If your car is facing forward, put it in 2nd or 1st.
4. with your foot still pressing clutch in, release parking brake. Let the car roll
5. once you get sufficient speed (mine was at a steep incline, I let it roll 2 ft), RELEASE clutch, and immediate hit the start button. THEN
6. If you are in Reverse (or 1st), the engine WILL start up it will most likely stall (don't ask me how I know). Immediately after step 5, and when you hear the engine cough or roar, push the clutch back in, and hit the brake pedal. I think if you bump start on 2nd gear going forward, engine may not stall immediately.
7. Hold the clutch and brake pedal down, wait for your heartrate to come back down, and then.
8. put gear back in neutral, and release clutch, and now your car is started.
