When highway driving with cruise on and i go up a hill or incline the throttle pulses, is this normal?

My F150 will give more throttle to maintain speed but not pulsate on and off.

Mine was doing the same thing. 2021 GT Auto. It started around 1500 miles. I took it to the Ford shop and they had to reset the learning module and it was fixed. Until about the 7000-8000 mile mark it started again. Not sure what's going on but its annoying. I tuned the car around 5000 miles so Im thinking about re loading the tune to see if that changes anything.

Can the learning module be reset with forescan?

I suspect, but have no evidence to support, that this is a new normal. The car is borderline lugging itself in the pursuit of extra mpg. My wife’s truck does something similar (a chevy).

I wonder if i manually down shift if it would stop, or would that disengage cruise?
