Pulley down on a P1X

Gen2 stage2 redline is 7500, crank pulley is 6.75 inches pc pulley 4.88 ..calculator says 42,533 rpm at redline..

Gen 2 stage 2 is an 8” crank pulley. You’re slightly over 50k

oh i had the crank pulley diameter wrong, ok thanks. I just did calc with a 4.38 pulley & thats just over 56,000 rpm..I wonder what king of power my d1x would make on e-85 with a 4:38 pulley probably over 900-950 but I’m guessing..

OP, your gonna want a fuel system before going to E. I wouldn't trust that DW400 to supply the volume you will need, especially if you pulley down. Definitely get yourself a Griptec pulley. Im running the 3.25", no slip at all.

For those interested I managed to squeeze 21psi out of a P1X. Stage 2 3.85" pulley, revved to about 8k. 69k blower RPM. Stock headers with cat deletes.

Built engine, only made 829whp but I have some other issues to work out and then I think it will make more.

Definitely should make more than that. Good luck finding those issues. I just want to get to the 800s then I’m done. I’m not gonna build the engine unless I really have to which means unless it blows up.
