My passenger side is still perfect, but the driver's side is starting to develop a "raindrop" effect... not too bad yet so I won't do anything until the 1st service comes round...

Make sure your dealer has got one in stock before you go for your service.

Dealers today,had all ready rung parts dept to make sure they had one,gets to service they dont want to do it as Ford are bringing out a plastic ie not paper replacement.

Pointed out this was a pre booked appointment,they had one in parts and i would like it doing as no one has any idea when the revised item will be available. They did it. So at least it would appear that at some time in the future a proper fix will be available.

Pretty sure thats a Discus mate. You can tell by the tailfin.

I was hoping my lights would have no problem but finally I've started getting speckles on my drivers side light! Shit, 200 mile return trip to a dealer who never replies to my emails or phones me back.

Tell em both are screwed and ask to ship the replacements to you!

Had mine replaced this week. Also had some other warranty work done and was amazed how quickly they got the parts in - 2 days! was expecting months.

However, the puddle light has been fitted at a super-wonky angle as has happened to other people I recall.

Question is, has anyone fitted (or re-fitted properly) the puddle light module themselves. Is there a video or instructions anywhere? Or just any tips. I assume its very straight forward but don't want to go snapping any plastic clips etc.

Oh no! Mine is getting on for 45 degrees!

Wonder if this is really the case as surely people would have wonky lights from the factory as well.

I think they said there was pins to locate them, so they could not be fitted wrong, but maybe they managed to get it wrong on yours :shrug:
