Yeah, saw that note about 50 lbs for base seats. I'm pretty sure the Recaros are around 10 lbs lighter ea.

I am going away from LFB in these cars. I did it exclusively in my FWD Neon/SRT-4 days but it just feels better for me to not do it in the Mustang. Plus, my big driver issue is I tend to tense up and not be relaxed enough. Planting the left foot is helping me be more relaxed with my arms and breathing.

I tried to Not LFB on some cars,......but I just can't stop doing it.

Man, my car and its setup is so fun to sling around the cones. What a difference from last year's FS runs.

I was really worried I might have too much rear bar with the change to Steeda sway bars but not at all after Sunday's runs. The lot was very old asphalt with lots of undulations on a cold, damp day. So a good test of the suspension's ability to deal with uneven surfaces and inconsistent grip levels. The words linear, predictable and balanced come to mind.

Really impressed with the Roush/KW shocks! I could feel the car just stick on "landing" off a crest into a tight turn-around element, for example. I think the combo of this suspension and getting rid of the bonded bushing PP front sway bar has led to the linear (not sure why I keep saying that), predictable handling.

I think you guys are going to love these cars with a STP setup in them if you haven't had a chance to run yours yet. Again, can't tell you how fun it was to attack a course like I was able to. Raw timed a bunch of good cars.

good to hear.

It makes sense considering that your rear spring rate is on the lower end, that a bigger rear bar would help out.

Are you running the same front springs that it came with?

I am on the Roush springs front and rear. Bars were on the softest settings. Shocks on what I have worked out for a comfortable street ride so not even halfway up. (It was cold and damp Sunday) The asphalt there is a lot like Packwood's but the course way smaller.

When I ran down in Marina on the concrete six weeks ago I had less front camber, jacked up toe settings and factory bars. I was working my way through shock settings that were higher, though. And did good.

I am curious if it will take higher spring rates to be competitive on 10" wheels, 285 tires. I know a number of of you guys will be.

I am not sure if my jrz shocks will be here before the 1st event.... So I will be running on the bmr handling springs. Should be good to compare.

Have AFE long tube headers (the only long tubes I could find with the cats 6” from stock)
Magna flow cat back with X-Pipe
Forgestar F14 10” Wheels (black)
StopTech Drilled 2 piece 15” Rotors
OEM Brembo PP Calipers
ICS coilovers --- not even arrived yet expected anyday

Everything brand new in box never installed…

Didn't do any autocross last season on my stock Pirellis, but I'm probably going to hit up a few events this year having switched to some Bridgestone Potenza S-04s.

I'm not looking to be "competitive" in the class, but my mods (mostly my tune and CAI) put me out of Street and into Street Touring so STP it is

Glad they created this class for our cars. After a few autocrosses I might end up finally replacing my ARBs and Shocks...

I put my BMR front sway bar on today.......what a pain in the ass getting the stock one out of the car.

It's worth it to get the PP one out. Mine came out fairly easily out the driver's side.

1st event in STP (light).......

It was a high of 38 degrees out, so not much traction.

My co-driver had to learn the car, as seen in the video


I didn't get video of my fastest run,....this is the best I got on video



I ended up FTD and Pax.

Can't wait to get the JRZ on.
