Kicking off a new project or maybe contiuing our project. I guess it depends on how you look at it. I ordered my first s550 the day the ordering banks opened that car wasn't with us long things to a deer but we replaced it with the same spec car immediatly. That car my brothers kids named Betsy was with us for just over 5 years. It took on many forms a procharged car,twin turbo to a full bulit FFRE sleeved block with a BL Fab 88 mm turbo. On oct 12th my brother was driving that car lost control we belive because of the transmission cross member breaking and went end over end the drivers door came open and he was ejected. They got a pulse at the scence for a brief moment or they thought they did but he pronounced not long after at the hosiptal. I made it out there to the scence and followed up to the hosiptal. This car was a extension of him and the shop that he had startred so of couse I couldn't let the insurnace company keep it and I couldn't let it just sit.
So I started to look for a roller orginally looking for a new edge or a fox body or a s197 to try to keep the cost down. Thats when I came across a 2015 gt preiumum in Gerogia priced right. I jumped on a plan with my brothers ashed and we went down to get the car and made the 14 hour drive back. That weekend I had the steering wheel and gauge clustster out of the 15 he was driving which was the gt350 wheel and 18+ digtal cluster into the new car. The next weekend we pulled everything we could out of the wrecked car and thats where we are at right now. Amazinly alot survied and I will be able to use most everything but some of the hot side turbo piping and some of it can be used with repair. The goal here is to put down over 1500 hp on high boost and then turn it down.
