They guys at the shop said it was the worst one they had seen. Crazy thing is up until the point it let go, there was absolutely no indication it was ready to fail or on its way out.

Can't believe the clutch let go like that. Sorry it happened to you on a track day. I just wanted to say that I love the brake work you have done. Those calipers look killer!

I should update the calipers. I think the heat and Carbotech dust did a number on them. I tried to wash them down with the wheels of and they are stained black. Pretty disappointing as they looked awesome. This winter I will remove them and get them stripped at work and then try automotive paint and clearcoat and see if that works.

Wow that's a bummer because they looked gorgeous and I'm sure it was a lot of work. Good luck on the next process. The car is looking awesome!

Made up a wooden support for the cradle and drained the oil. I will figure out what kind of performance oil to put back in later. I removed the entire cradle on my own with some luck and skill. Pics to follow of the dif out and old bushings removed. Almost ready to reinstall

How is the wooden support staying fixed to the cradle?

Nice build, let me know if you ever make it down to a Texas track.

That clutch failure got me worried, guess that means the rest of us are on borrowed time.

Thanks! Would love to make a track in Texas but it is a hell off a drive from the great white north.

Keep driving your car hard. I seem to think Ford may have got a bad batch of clutches. They are failing too randomly with no common reasons in the way of driving styles. They are made in Turkey. If yours goes on the track it won't give you any clue, it will just up and fail.
