Steeda IRS braces installed. Very easy install, took about 30 mins (mostly because I had to put the car down and move adjust the lift since it was still kind of in the way). Combined with the diff bushing inserts and the subframe inserts, the car is a completely different vehicle. Super happy!

Absolutely loving this build, thank you for taking the time to post your feedback and lack of wheel hop :)

I sat down last night and did some figuring on everything I have put into "Anna", between parts and costs and everything vs what I expected to have done at this point. I'm certainly not at the level with this car that I want to be at, but at the same time I understand why.

I have a '76 Cobra II restoration project with a 5 spd swap, Kenne Bell FI'd 306 and '01 that is almost done with a Terminator swap and then some (including IRS, coilovers, full tubular front end, black suede Cobra interior). My goal was to make this an all out race car, but in full street trim. Something that looked like a show car, but could hang with the best of them. That's taken a lot more than initially expected, but I think I should be there soon.

Everything I have done on it is custom in one way or another and is done all at home, in the garage. Valve covers were hand polished (PITA) and the interior LED lighting (including all small switches and gauge cluster) were all changed out. I still have to relocate the battery to the trunk, shave the engine bay and paint everything inside and out. Then I can install the new drivetrain and call it "done". Paint is going to be a two-tone scheme, all House of Kolor. I have a them for this car, too ;). Figured I would share that here too, since it's a huge reason why I don't spend more time on Project Anna.

I'll have to post more pictures when I get home.

She's looking good!

I'm jealous! I've got just about every Steeda suspension they make as well as the strut kit but no gifts for me. I was hoping for a banner for the man cave. Oh well. :(

APR splitter is here. I have to say, this thing is beautiful... a seriously well made piece. It almost seems like sacrilege to paint it gloss black.

Spent some time yesterday pulling the car apart to install the APR splitter as well as some other things.

I didn't paint the splitter- I just couldn't bring myself to paint over such beautiful workmanship. However, the APR Racing sticker will be coming off for a simpler, cleaner look. Installation of the splitter is very straightforward and easy for anyone considering it.

Removing the bumper is pretty much the same as my previous Mustangs. Remove the 8 or so plastic push pins in the radiator cover. Then are are about 5 8mm bolts in the top of the bumper under the radiator cover, with 2 5.5mm (one by each headlight). Remove the 4 plastic pins in towards the bottom of the wheel well liners so you can unplug the lights and remove the 7mm bolt that holds the fender and bumper together on each side. Take out the 7 or so 7mm bolts and like 4 plastic pins in the belly pan and your bumper is ready to pull.

While I did all of this I also let the adjuster rods bake and cure, since I had painted them gloss white. They look so much nicer on the car in Oxford, I'm really happy. I did install them into the lower grille panel since it feels plenty strong and it's much easier/cheaper to replace if I ever want to go back to factory. I also took the time to install Steeda's G-Trac brace that I've had waiting patiently. Install wasn't too bad, but the brace did need a little tweaking and prying to get the 12mm hex bolts in correctly. Not a big deal though, something that could easily be done by one person in their garage with a small pry bar and some patience. The brace made a very noticeable difference in the front end handling. Much stiffer, much more responsive with turn-in. I'm pleased

Since I had the bumper off, I also went ahead and pulled all the 50 years chrome out of the grille. It was something I had vinyl'd, which was okay, but paint is going to look MUCH better.

Anyway, here's some pics. I still have to get the painted grille accents back in, but they were still curing and I'm not going to rush perfection.

Took a few minutes to try out the GT PP wheel on my father's '14 GT/CS, too. I think it looks pretty good ;)

Finally got the chance to clean the car up and get some real pictures of the APR splitter. This thing is absolutely beautiful to look at, and I'm glad I did it. Now that I've had time to stare at it and think, the APR Racing sticker is going to be removed. Sorry APR, love your product, but sometimes less is more.

I also have a few hundred miles now an all of these Steeda components and I think I can finally give a review that's past first impressions.

Steeda IRS bushing inserts: Install is very easy and you don't notice any difference in ride comfort or noise. However, while I did these the same time as Eibach Sportlines, they stand out on their own. Launch the car and you can notice a difference in deflection.

IRS differential bushings, aluminum: Most noticeable improvement in the car. Probably the best suspension mod I have made. Yes, you shift hard you'll feel a slight clunk as power hits to the rear end and has nowhere to go but to the tires, but that's exactly what I want. Car barely squats at this point and yet is still very comfortable for easy cruising. I have noticed a bit of driveline whine since installing them, but it's so light I don't even notice. Besides, I have a Corsa to listen to and that definitely drowns it out.

IRS subframe connectors: Obviously no noticeable NVH changes, but the car does feel better when you gas it hard out of a corner. I'm looking forward to testing this beefed rear at the track soon.

G-Trac brace: Took a little bit of prying with a small pry-bar to get the bolt holes lined up perfectly in the front, but not every subframe is going to line up the same. Also, was very simple to handle even doing that by myself. Well worth it and easy install. You can immediately notice the front-end being "tighter" just pulling out onto the street. Turn-in is better and she's a bit more responsive. Very happy.

Anyway... pictures:
