While not directed to me, just want to addy 2 cents. Many talk about future growth. If one maxed out a d1x, they would need a sleeved engine, built trans, badass fuel system, axles and most importantly dedication. While there a several that take it that far, for most it's simply not reality. Not sure what your level of dedication is, but buying a 1100whp capable blower and making 700whp seems less than ideal when a smaller unit can do it when put into it's efficiency range.

But sometimes you just want what you want, and I get that too!

no, thanks for the info! to be honest, I do plan on future growth and plan on doing all those upgrades when the time comes, in the mean time I think I would be comfortable with 900whp, that is my current goal, would you suggest going with the P1x instead and upgrading the head unit when the time comes or should I just do the D1x now if I plan on building down the road ?

If you're going to go past 900rwhp at some point:

ID1700X Injectors
E85
Triple Pump Fuel System
Fore Rails
PC Stage 2 System with F1A-94 Blower, you can call them and ask what pulley would put you around the 18# mark.
Good Tune

When you go for the party pulley that should put you around 1200rwhp.

Also assume you'll put in timing gear and oil pump gears. You're also going to wreck your driveshaft and axles with an even kind of sticky tire.

I suppose that's ultimately up to you, taking into consideration the timeframe. This time next year will u have a built setup ready to go? Parts to support build coming in now? Car already built? Yea get the d1x now. If car is stock right now and you are starting from the bottom, I'd go p1x. 900whp on stock engine is asking alot and you will be sacrificing longevity. Upper 700s ain't slow...

I see that you are doing 900+ rwhp, what is your current set up?

sleeved engine could be within the next year or so and possibly built trans, already have driveshaft and new clutch ready to install and axles coming in the next few months. yea north of 700 isn't bad at all but ultimately 900whp is the goal, maybe even north of 800

2018 D1x on e85 making right at 900 to the wheels. Do the D1x up front and save yourself in the long run.

How much boost to get to that 900 mark?

The 18+ cars are crazy efficient.

Good luck in whichever way you choose OP.
