I’m super excited! Joining the Procharger club soon. Having the P1X HO system installed along with a LPX twin disc clutch. I’ll be sure to report back with first impressions and smile factor. Let’s just hope shipping doesn’t take forever.

It can take a while but all good things come to those who wait

The wait will give you time to set aside a money for a custom tune, injectors, and a BAP that you will inevitably want.

I recently installed the P1x HO kit on my car. Some guys have had good luck with the Procharger tune, but I think most are not happy with it. Drivability was pretty poor And my datalogs were not great.

So I ended up deciding to get a custom tune. All of the tuners I emailed wanted me to have bigger injectors and a BAP before they would tune my car. So I am now waiting on my BAP to come in the mail. Tune and 1000cc injectors are ready to go. I should have gotten the beefcake special.

Post install update:

JM Performance in Sellersburg, IN completed my install in late January, to include LPX twin disc clutch install and one temp colder spark plugs (6510). Amazing work and attention to detail by this shop and their talented technicians.

Standard Procharger tune with the kit is just enough to get her home and keep her running. For context I drove it ~800 mile back to Northeast Florida. Fast forward about a month plus a Palm Beach Dyno remote tune and I am happy to say ol’ girl is putting down 628 RWHP! I am 1000% happy with the results and grin ear to ear every time I drive!

Side note: Discovered, via this site, that a crank relearn may be required after clutch/flywheel install to prevent DTC codes from throwing under high load/rpm.

Happy to be a centri boy!

My '19 P1X made pretty much identical numbers, also pbd remote dyno tune.. No bap or injectors.

I'm not convinced there's a lot of headroom left in the setup. Unfortunately I can't log PI IPW so I have no idea the IDC. My lift pump pressure doesn't drop at all.

I'm upgrading to a DW400 in tank and LP52 just for some headroom and so I can get a racegas file to turn it up.

Jason, does your car ever randomly cut power in 2nd with trac/advance trac off?

I wish I had Lund tune at first, but after adding Lund tune, bigger injectors and a bap, my car became a different animal. I’m really satisfied with the outcome.

No issues with power cut after the crank relearn. It would throw codes and feel like it was misfiring under high load/rpm. Runs like a beast after the crank relearn.

congrats and sounds like a good runner. Kinda confused though, as my first blower/procharger, P1x also just landed.

So you Didnt use the supplied 52 lb injectors and uploaded the procharger tune? If so, most like,ya where the drive ability problems came from.

Im in the same boat and going back and forth about what remote tune to do.

Good numbers!

Turn it up. I’m on the same kit with a 3.40 pulley on E. Get a fuel system and really let it fly.

I run a 3.7 and a 3.5 depending on what I need with a 20% overdrive balancer. You can make some good numbers but you have to let them drop. I don’t run a bap of any kind. I have a fuel pump on each side of my fuel tank. Each pump feeds one side of the engine. This is so that if one of the pumps goes out it will not go lean and blow. I will just lose the 4 cylinders that are feed by that pump. Normally both pumps go to both sides and if a pump goes out the one remaining pump can’t supply enough fuel for all 8 cylinders so it starts to go lean and boom. With my setup I just have 4 cylinders shut off but no lean conditions. At least that’s the theory
