How much better is the 3.55 on your v6? It's safe to say 3.15 gears are shit!!
I use to have 3.31 in my 2012 V6 and that was the best gears for that model. I experimented with the 3.73 and because the V6 trans in both the 2011-2014 and 2015-16 have a very short 1st gear when compared to the V8 trans; the 3.73 was terrible and useless, you just didn't use 1st gear, you started in 2nd. 3.31 was the best for my 2012 V6. Before I bought my 2015 V6, I test drove both 3.15 and 3.55. In my opinion, 3.15 is not fun to drive. Definitely the 3.55 has the fun factor. Also, based on my experiences with changing rear diff gears, get the 3.55 from the factory and don't do aftermarket, too many problems at least on the 2011-2014 with noise issues to get right. I'm very happy with my 3.55's. For me it was a no-brainer along with the 18" wheel package too. The 17's in the stock felt like balloons, just horrible. Just my opinion.

I didnt get a Chace to drive the v6 with 3.55 because I had ordered mine back in July 2014 also they didn't have the 3.55 option. I actually ordered the ford racing 3.73 and getting it done next week. A guy on this forum said 3.73 is amazing on his v6.......

I went through the same experience when I ordered my 3.73's for my 2012. People saying how great it was and like I said, definitely not from my experience. I personally would strongly recommend not to do it on the V6 Mustang. Like I said 1st gear became absolutely useless in my 2012 so why have it 3.73's?. Let me know how your install goes. I sure hope you don't have issues with gear whine at for example 60mph/100kph like I had. In my part of the world in the Greater Vancouver, BC Area, there is no one I could find who would guarantee no gear whine with there install, they all blame the quality of the gears now a days. I was using genuine Ford Racing ones too. I went through several sets too. Now, hopefully the rear diff is different now and there are no such issues like people were having with the solid rear axle diffs.

Also, if you were thinking to ProCharge your car, stay with the 3.15's.

Getting it installed from the one and only dasilva racing.... he's been around for 30 years in the business working on mustangs only from 1979 - present. He also has a whipple s550 v8 too so the guys in the gta of Torono trust their mustangs wth him search up dasilvaracing.com

Ask them about gear whine before they do the work. We have lots of racing shops here too and they don't guarantee no gear whine anymore. I certainly hope it works out for you. Let me know how it works out.

Is the stock clutch on the 2015 Mustang V6 strong enough for the ProCharger kit?
can't comment on the clutch, but I think V6 has dual mass flywheel, and that may not be rated for high torque gains.

I know the Dual Mass Flywheel in the 2011-2014 was not good enough. I know the 2015 has a different clutch and flywheel so I hope ProCharger has an answer for my question.
