A blower / turbo is a bolt on. Heads are bolt ons, cams, nos etc all bolt ons.
Yea so is a full engine and a dildo.. Just do some research and let me know how many NA 11sec Coyotes you find with stock long locks.

But then again your putting down nearly 500whp catless and tuned on e85.. Are you guys reading where it says Stock gt350 in all my posts?

2015 Full bolt on coyote with e85 is a mid 11 second car. There isn't a gt350 running that stock. Best was like an 11.9 with suspension modifications and I think an 11.7 with DRs.
Yes sir I meant when I was stock a couple pages back .

Why in the hell are we comparing "upper tier" overachieving bolt on coyotes to a bone stock GT350 anyway. Get serious for a second. The guys running mid 11s represent the folks with not only well selected bolt-ons, but great tunes, and experience, using their best available times, on prepared tracks with the help of a community that now has more time working with the platform. Are you kidding me. This went off the damn rails.

I think the point was that the OP was surprised he didn't walk a bit more on his buddy. Run the numbers and gearing and see what it suggests would be my advice. Seems like it was to be expected to a certain degree. How many miles on the car, mine has got a bit quicker over time.

The price premium on our car is for rarity, handling, r&d, and of course the motor etc. You must factor those also into what seems to be some apparent disappointment. Take your friend on a country drive and watch him bleed mph in the corners and watch you walk coming out of every curve.

if straight line is more important get yourself some bolt-ons and a great tune also and get the best of both worlds.

are you sure you were actually driving it like you should.? because when i was stock i destroyed a full bolt on (e85, cat delete, intake, ARH headers and exhaust) 5.0 . our gearing and high rev are just nasty up top. if only our cars weighed less like around 2-300 lbs lighter we'd have a nasty n/a monster.
definitely agree on weight, the torque characteristics lower really make the car susceptible to weight. when I added my 150 pound son and about 100 pounds of baggage I definitely felt it.

Dropping weight - the equivalent to what I had added would seem to also thereby have a nice effect.

Set of forgelines or other similar 1 pc forged wheels, rear seat delete (useless anyway) set of Recaro profi or other lightweight race seat (the Recaro I just the nicest and lightest with balance of comfort I can think of) remove trunk linert etc. That should get you close to the 200lb off mark.

Sorry if you went over this but I was thinking of just getting some reclinable seats but I have the tech pack will it set off a light or something if I make the swap. Not looking for anything fancy the ones I was looking at are just reclinable and manual adjustable forward and back I believe

Can't stand people.like.me.because I point out the obvious flaw in Your position? I can compare 12 Boss, 12 GT/PP, 15 GT/PP, 15 EB and that's just in the Mustang realm. I can factually say that the TQ may not be as sttong but the HP builds tq faster becuase of the speed in which it reaches peak. That just my .02 cents. Make a statement and back it up with some data.
Cause you went strait to EBM when this thread isnt even about that.

Incorrect! Rather becuase you made a comment about low end tq and never made a distinction between what. I used EB becuase it is in your profile and no other reason. Making a statement without a valid comparison, especially if you haven't actually driven the car you critiqued, we'll that's just asinine.

Haven't dove into the 350 yet but usually if unplugging doesn't work resistors can be used to fool the computer.

I comparing the 5.0. Plus I have driven a friends 350 and low end to low end I actually like the 5.0 better, however above 4k the 350 is king. Im just critiquing it not bashing it.

All this talk about the lack of low end in the 350 is pretty silly, IMO. It's almost impossible to spend any amount of time at those lower RPMS in a 350. Also, the 5.0 loves to rev, too and while it does OK at lower RPM, it's not known as a torque monster, lol. If someone is driving around shifting under 4k and talking about how much they enjoy the torque in a 5.0, they are doing 1 or all of 3 things:
1 - Wasting the potential of an awesome motor
2 - Driving the wrong vehicle, get a diesel or a turbo something
3 - Looking way too hard to justify why their 5.0 is as good or better than the 5.2

People also forget that the 5.0 GT has different transmission gearing. The 5.2 is no slouch, I'd love to install 4.30-4.56 gears if they ever become available but I do not ever see that happening.
