I listened to the proflow compared to the bullet open on YouTube, guy did a cool comparison with his gopro and you can tell the difference. Bullet is much louder. Performance wise I don't know. Procharger is for out of stock on the closed ones, which I would likely do, because I would throw a filter on it to muffle that thing some. I don't like advertising that my cars blown,I like the surprise factor.

I am going to keep the Big red in hopes of someone creating an intake that fits nicely. Loud!!! No masking the sound of a D1SC so I figured why not toss the loud bypass on there. Sounds nasty!

I'm picking up car tomorrow assuming nothing else happens. I'll snap some photos of the rerouting and new inlet.

Here is the updated inlet from PC. Suffice it to say, its going to require some modification to fit in there. It extends out further than the regular one.

Uhh.... yeah. Did they just send you an elbow to do their R&D or what? Can you tell me what the ID size is on both ends if you get a minute? I'm curious.

Trust me from experience, just get that 3.5 hard plastic 90 and trim it to fit. It will fit 10 times better and leave you more room up there.

I'm excited to see if the replacement part works. If so, it might be part of a few of our problems with top end power being squashed. I don't think mines flattening out completely but it is possible it's constricting and necking down the power up high. 486 torque just isn't right and assuming they send these to customers who have the stage 2 kits like us it might help correct that. Hard plastic makes so much more sense in this situation even though the silicone rubber was an easy one size sort of fits all approach. I looked at the Vortech intakes and you talk about night and day ...

If I could pop my intake off for a run I would, but if never get out back on afterwards, hence my reservation since the stock kit hose was never sized for the inlet.

That first 1.5" to 2.5" could be cutoff on the right. That will put it closer to the head unit.
