I have been trying to decide between a procharger stage 2 with D1SC vs the Bama Whipple kit, should I be worried about the elbow collapsing, and/or the surging?

I wouldn't go with the Bama kit, unless you were having it tuned elsewhere. I had a tune for my 15 from them and it had all types of spark knock, even with race gas. This is just my opinion.

With the IMRCs unplugged, the surging is minimal. As far as the elbow goes, I haven't heard many issues with it collapsing. As I said, I was not using the procharger coupler when it was collapsing.

Out of curiosity as I currently have some surging, what are the negatives of having the IMRCs unplugged?

With the 3.6" pulley I'm at 578whp and 526wtq 8.8psi
I am very happy with the car, The torque is beautiful :)
Holy smokes, the cool thing is that it also shows the power, not just a number. Stock clutch still holding?

Check engine light. I'm guessing the car wouldn't have as much torque at lower rpms/cruising. That's the point of having them.

I've changed tune settings to change how the imrc's are controlled. I've disabled them etc.

There's more to it than that, I'm still chasing my tail, and so are plenty of tuners smarter than I.

Nice! 93 pump gas? Do you know how much timing you have to get those numbers?

I've got almost identical hp and about 80 lbs less torque on about 11psi on 93 octane (562 rwhp and 440 rwtq). I'm thinking about getting a bigger pulley to make less boost because it seems like all the 8-9psi cars are making way better power for some reason.

Tuner said that if I go the boss manifold avenue, the IMRC can be turned off in the tune but other parameters will have to be adjusted as well in order for it to run correctly.

Ordered Boss manifold and UPR motor mounts. We shall see how this goes. Guess I will be the guinea pig.

You should be making way more power and tq than that. When I get my collapsing tube sorted, I'll be at about 695/550 (SAE) on ~12psi on pump 93.

I'm on 91 Octane, 10.8afr at wide open throttle. The coyote engine loves fuel! Lol torque numbers I'm very happy with. I wouldn't go over 10psi on 91 octane, so 11 on 93 seems okay. I would lower the boost down a bit and focus on a good clean tune. Or put good gas in it and see how it likes it. Not sure what the timing is exactly, but it is conservative. My tuner is just now getting into Cam Timing tuning. But that has remained untouched.

Which pulley are you running?

That's where I will be on 92. Plan is to add meth and bump it to 15psi by the end of the year.

Just took off the intake manifold, pretty easy. Looked over all of the IMRC plugs, diaphragms, and vacuum lines. From what I can see, they were all where they needed to be with no visible damage. Not sure what the cause was but Boss manifold is going on there tomorrow. Good riddens IMRC. It sure would have sucked to find out it was all in the tune. Guess I will never know...

I am running the 5.00 pulley and the tuner told me that at 7300 RPMS, the car was making 14lbs of boost. Bu not sure if that was due to the IMRC being its evil self, or something else.

Yeah, on 100 octane and that 93 octane tune the best i made was 612 / 480 with Lund tuning. Can't seem to get past that for some reason even with more timing. Tried a different dyno, similar results. I haven't hit 500 torque even though I should be closer to 550. I don't know why mine won't do more, I don't think my inlet is collapsing because it makes 11-12 psi with the D1SC but... Hell who knows.
