The shop my car is at uses HP tuners to tune their vehicles and I have SCT. I hate to spend another 500 for a tune just to have same thing happen.

Well, got word from the shop they pretty much haven't figured the imrc issue out. It is something wrong with the car, just can't pin point it. They have had the car for over a week, and they came up with nothing. They have tried a few things with no real results.

Its a good kit, just not sure what on the car is jacked. I am putting the car back to stock and selling everything. So... if you know anyone looking for a stage 2 kit with D1, Race bypass, ID1000, JMS bap. Pass the word. I will be posting it FS when it gets removed. Thanks again for all the help, Gents.
I'm interested.

Why not return to stock, but keep the kit. See if the problem is with the stock car and get it fixed. Then you can put the kit back on afterwards.

I was debating that. Or I can just completely replace the IMRC system with a KB or Whipple.

Your experience is my exact reason for going Whipple.

There is absolutely zero reason for anyone to be blaming the power adder for what is going on here, there are literally tens of thousands of cars running around with IMRCs that have zero issue. Blaming a power adder for the IMRCs not functioning correctly is about the same as blaming your air conditioner because your clutch is slipping. I can certainly understand the frustration of just wanting to ditch the IMRCs in favor of a different blower because your over dealing with the problem but you cant blame the original unit for the issue your having.

In fairness, I don't think he is. If he could get the cash from his kit to offset a Whipple he'd like better and bypass the problem at the same time, that sounds like the way to go. Plus, we might go bulk discount and but a couple units lol

no I've spoke to Phil and I don't think he is doing that either, but several other people seem to think the blower has something to do with it and that is just not the case.

It's just an air pump at the end of the day. If it makes manifold pressure it's doing what it's supposed to. The rest of the headaches, though, are a different story. Tuning, broken parts, and aggravation, and disappointing numbers on tuner kits with D1's compared to some YouTube tuner videos. I get it.

Put it back to stock, fix problem, then re do. Selling it is just defeat.

Couldn't agree more. It's his car and money though. However for people to not buy a product over a problem that is related to the car is not smart.
