Happy new year all.

I have a 2016 with a Procharger DX-1 on it with the stock manifold on it. I understand that there are problems with trying to replace the stock inlet manifold with a 2018 manifold. Does anyone know what the problems are and how they can be overcome?

Cheers, Pete.

The hard pipe between intercooler and TB will need to be cut, rotated and rewelded. This is because the 2018 intake points the TB up towards the hood. Many just run it, but it won't fit well at all.

I bolted an 18 intake on my 17 procharger setup. Just adjust the silicone elbow and it fits without issue. Not sure what the previous poster is talking about cutting pipe, etc.

As I said, it fits but the 90 deg silicone coupling that attaches to TB doesn't fit great. I'm just picky how my stuff fits. So I cut and welded maf pipe.

Thanks for the replies. For those have done the change, did it make much difference to your performance?

Couldn't answer that since I went back words . Intake first , yes there is a big difference when na . Then the procharger.

My car picked up a ton with 2018 intake. Your results will vary depending on current power output, RPM limit etc. It's worth it.

2018 manifold made a huge difference on my car. Goes into warp drive over ~6500rpm. I had no issues with fitment. Do the IMRC lockouts to save that headache though.

The major difference is you will see more power that carries longer into the RPMs. A ported 18 manifold would help out alot as well. Let me know if thats something you'd be interested in, we can get you a 1320 junkies manifold that are proven to make great power.

Have the 2018 mani with P1X on my 2016 also and seems to work pretty well. Knock on wood my IMRC’s seem to function properly. What pulley size and boost are you seeing In your car?

think I’m at 9-10psi with the 4.75”. Any feel at what the 4.5” would produce? I shift around 7,500rpm. Thanks

Probably an extra couple psi and a little more push in the upper RPMs
