Only audible if I drop gears to say 40mph in 2nd or 20 in 1st when the RPMs are up. There you hear the air rushing out. Or doing in a pull and letting off at 5k+ and it dumps.
Red Race Valve is loud AF all the time. You will always hear it, not like a turbo car just between shifts. Just wanted to make sure you knew that. When you left off in Boost though it is awesome!
I have a Turbosmart BOV which I believe is pretty similar to the Red race valve. It is very loud and you hear it ALL the time. It's awesome though, I love it.
I came from the standard BPV before this, which you only heard in high RPMs letting off throttle.
Pretty much exact same setup as SolarFlare only stock headers and 3" magnaflow comp catback on a manual. Stock CG/OPGs. Lund tuned. Stock Proflow bypass valve that came with the kit and works like a charm. No issues with it and although i'd love to try a big red, I don't need the extra cop attention where I live. Can barely hear it over the sound of the exhaust. I imagine the red valve sounds the same as the Proflow bypass valve does with the windows down when you drive past a wall and can hear the hiss sound bouncing back.
the red valve is louddddddd. im running x pipe into roush mufflers and during regular driving its just as loud as the exhaust.. from the inside it's not too bad and its never bothered me.
