Thanks for coming across that. I would call that a pretty close comparison for sure. it seems like the peak horsepower at very similar boost is about the same so I wouldn't consider one significantly more efficient than the other. The Whipple simply makes torque everywhere. I loved my centrifugal on my C5 Z06 and I can definitely see where the torque could hurt more than help. I never felt like my centrifugal was weak.Not exactly a 1:1 comparison, however its pretty darn close. There aren't many people that swap from one blower to another for testing like this, also this is a Camaro vs. Mustang so there are some huge differences in that respect, not to mention a difference in boost ie it says 12 psi for the procharger & 13-14psi for the whipple. Keeping in mind just 1lb of boost pressure typically gives about 20-30hp if you aren't over spinning the blower, but you can see the curves at 5m55s.
With all that said I'm very happy with my procharger setup![]()
