I went through three Proleakers on my 2011 5.0 before i went twin turbo. All three of them leaked behind the inlet blower wheel seal.
I had a Paxton that leaked oil from day one , still leaks to this day ..

After seeing this thread I googled ProCharger leak and saw lots of reference to pressure build up inside the head unit because there is no breather. If you check the the oil level when the unit is hot, you can hear the pressure hiss when unscrewing the dipstick screw.

did you try cleaning it off and see if it comes back, could just be some dirt that got on it

I have not...I will do that but car is sitting now for Winter.

I checked the oil level and it has oil in it , maybe 1/4" on the dipstick. But yeah different temps are going to present different pressure within...force out seal maybe.

That's what the consensus was looking at various forums. I saw some reference to guys installing a breather, there is even one made specifically for ProCharger on eBay.

That looks to be very much PCV oil..... (not blower oil)

The PCV oil gets sucked into the blower inlet and leaks out the bottom of the scroll.
(since the scroll isn't sealed with any kinda o-ring)

Catch can will solve your issue there.
But its 100% normal... you should SEEEEEEEE what my truck looks like. :)

217k supercharged miles on a LS motor...with no catch can ever in its life.
I don't open the hood other than the change the oil in the motor and blower. LOL.
She's filthy.

I think the op just changed his inlet pipe to the mak pipe,if it is pcv oil your old tube should have some oil in it.Mine has been clean so far and no catch can but when i bought the kit used the pcv hoses were filled with dirty oil and didnt have hardley any miles.Crazy how some of these cars have more blowby then others.

You are right , some use a bit of oil and some don't ... I beat the snot out of mine and has not used any oil since the first oil change .. No oil in my hoses but I did notice I tiny bit of oil on the lip of the blower intake when I changed over to the MAK intake pipe ..I was surprised to see that .. So I guess the OP has one of them that uses a bit more oil and has a bit more blow by ..But it sounds like it's not a big problem according the Protcharger Tech..

That's what I see also. I do have the UPR catch can on here specifically for the Procharger. Going to have to do some digging. Its 4f here today and no heated garage. It will be a while til we warm up.

When my Procharger was leaking I had the same residue on top and a wet oily surface under the head unit. Mine was also bad seals on a brand new kit.
