1970 Mach 1 with a 351 and a 4-speed Hurst. Gold with black stripe on the hood.

Sadly, endo'd in a construction zone on the Mass Pike at rush hour in 1978 when someone decided to change lanes without realizing I was next to him. :crying: First state cop on the scene asked me if the driver was dead and was amazed when I told him I was the driver.

Just wondering how many of this gen owners had a Mustang back in the day? The 64.5-73 models? A good friend in HS had a '68 coupe, 200 six with 3 speed. Pale green with black interior. Post up photos of both of your if you can?
Well, before my 2017 Mustang GT convertible I currently have, I had a 1997 GT hard top and a 1990 LX 5.0 coupe.

These are the toys that I have had in my life. It started with the 83 Datsun 280 ZX Turbo bought brand new. Damn, I loved that car and wish so had it still.

I upgraded from the Z to a 86 911 Carrera Targa. I bought it in 1988 with 23,000 miles. I still have it today with 130,000 miles on it.

My next adventure was a 98 Mustang GT Convertible ordered totally loaded and bought brand new. I had that a long time until in 2012 I gave it to my daughter. It had 90,000 miles when I gave it to her and she put on an additional 72,000 when she traded it in for a SUV.

After the 98 GT I bought a 2013 Mustang GT Premium Convertible brand new. I still have it as my daily driver. It now just went in to be serviced at 60,000 miles. It never has had anything wrong with it.

The last toy that I purchased was in 2021 and that was my 2020 Mustang Bullitt in Dark Highland Green. That too was bought brand new and shipped to me in Florida from Indiana. The Bullitt is my baby, it only has 5,700 miles on it and it is fully loaded.

At this time I have the 911, the 2013 GT Convertible, and 2020 Bullitt. People always ask me if I want to sell my cars. I don’t plan on ever selling these three as it still pains me still that I sold the Z and let the 98 GT Convertible get away. No matter what I drive, I always get nice comments on these cars, and yesterday I had someone ask me if they could take a photo of my Bullitt to which I said yes.

It really is true that cars can become a part of your life and take on meaning and a personality all of their own.

I bought this '67 coupe for $50.00 in 1988. So CA car no rust never wrecked had a cracked shock tower,289 auto. I had the car 'Dipped' to strip it & then put it on a rotisserie fabricated all the safety cage. I built it to vintage race. has a 331 CID A4 Windsor block with GT40 heads, toploader 4 speed. Yes I still have the Terlingua Racing Team Mustang. i learned how to become a $ millionaire start out a billionaire then build a Vintage Mustang Race Car then go Vintage Racing.

My first car out of college was an ‘87 GT. Don’t have a digital pic but it looked just like this:

I owned a lot of cars after. Decided to replace my S4 with a coupe in 2020. I’ve never owned a car with an automatic transmission and was not going to change that. The Bullitt made the short list and I flew to SC from upstate NY in October 2020 to buy it. They were difficult for me to find at the time. When I moved to NV the following spring it had more miles on the trailer than it did on the odometer. :)

I am constantly complemented on the car. And I love it.

I had a 1983 GT. i got a wrecked 85 GT put the motor and entire drive train in the 83. Ran low 12's at the track. Also had a 1999 Mustang Cobra, then upgraded to a 2004 Mustang Cobra, Sweet ride. Now I have a 2019 Bullitt so the fun continues! Now I'm 73 years old and can't get it out of my system!

There was a time where I traded cars almost yearly. All of them were great, and I wish I could have my first car and the 91 coupe back. Those two I miss the most.

My first car back in '77 was a '76 Mustang II coupe. Does that count? As a kid, I liked the car for it was ... and so did the girls. My '19 Mustang Premium 4T will be my last car. So, first and last.
