Pre-owned Vortech

Hey, sorry if this has already been discussed, but I'm considering purchasing a super low mileage 2015 GT PP with the Vortech kit already on it. Just wondering if there is anything I should look out for when taking a look at it? How can I tell if everything was done correctly?

Why's he selling? Any odd sounds when you start/rev/drive the car? It's going to be hard to see if it's done correctly, unless you drive it hard and see how it feels.

It seems you already have a 15 GT, I wouldn't sell your car, and buy a new one for a $6K part upgrade.

I actually traded my Mustang in a while back. I miss it and want to get in another one. I haven't looked on Craigslist yet. Craigslist always makes me leery. The one I'm looking at is at a dealership in Jacksonville.

The Whipple car in the link. There is a Procharger for sale in Jville right now for $4,500 that is an amazing deal lol

I would take Tyler's car over anything else. It is FULLY loaded and ridiculously clean. The car is fast too. It has everything you need to get started. Just swap the MT82 out and throw some half shafts and you have a 9 second stick shift car...

Do you know the seller ? Is there any other aftermarket parts other than the S/C ?

No, not personally. It's a dealership. Looks like they sell mostly Jeeps and sports cars. The only other aftermarket parts listed in the ad are a flowmaster catback and eibach lowering springs.

How much are they asking ?

Any performance shops around you? You may be able to have one of their mechanics do an inspection. Aside from that if the price is right, I would consider it.

You probably should assume it will need OPG and C/S. And set aside funds for a new clutch, and maybe a tune.

I'm not sure why but I've been seeing a lot of guys selling their FI cars. I guess they weren't true mustang fans, or they need some financial space but I'd be leery of buying it from a dealer more than an individual seller.
